Jaleesa moved from Amsterdam to London in 2012 to study music and quickly became part of the city’s music scene. Within her first year and a half, she joined a drumline and performed at the UEFA Championship final. She went on to earn both a Bachelor of Music (Hons) and a Masters, and has written music courses taught in schools from primary to sixth form.

As a musician, Jaleesa has become highly sought after. She played drums on George Ezra’s hit Shotgun and has worked with artists including Elli Ingram, Enny, Brian Eno, Olivia Dean, and The Go! Team. As a teacher, she focuses on tailoring lessons to each student’s goals.
